Free Comic Book Day occurs on the first Saturday in May and is a single day when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their stores, with no purchase required and no strings attached. Fans new and old are welcome to Heroes Wanted for fun events and free comics!
